Libertarian candidate for U.S. Senate sent these thoughts on Memorial Day:

“As those of us who are candidates for Federal office ponder this weekend and think about what it can do for our campaign(s) we should take heed. Memorial Day is not just another weekend of campaigning or another parade in which to get us in front of voters. In this fraught campaign season we all need to remember why Monday is so special and important. It is in fact a day where we honor those that have died for our freedom & liberty. It is a solemn day where we recall the sacrifice of our armed services and their families.”
