Robinson talks welfare abuse on Howie Carr

howieMaine Wire Editor Steve Robinson joined talk radio host Howie Carr on Tuesday to talk about his investigation into abuse of Maine’s Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program.

According to an analysis of TANF data provided by the Department of Health and Human Services, Maine cash welfare has been spent in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Cash welfare transactions have also occurred at strip clubs, liquor stores, bars, and smoke shops.

It’s good to get this problem publicized across a broad area via Howie’s show. As predicted, the delusional Democrat leadership in Augusta, along with their liberal media puppet masters, are already trying to distort and minimize this new data.
