President Joe Biden announced on Friday that he will be allowing some illegal immigrants to receive taxpayer-funded medical welfare under the Affordable Care Act, commonly known as Obamacare.

“Today, my Administration is expanding affordable, quality health care coverage to Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients. Dreamers are our loved ones, our nurses, teachers, and small business owners. And they deserve the promise of health care just like all of us,” said President Biden.
The newly announced rules will apply to the over 800,000 recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) law.
DACA was established in 2012 under the Obama administration, and allows certain illegal immigrants brought into the country as children, known as “Dreamers,” to continually apply for deferred deportation.
It also grants Dreamers the legal right to work in the U.S., without granting them lawful residence or a path to citizenship.
When DACA was first implemented, President Barack Obama built in rules meant to exclude Dreamers from Obamacare, because many people were opposed to the idea of taxpayer funding going to pay the health insurance of illegal immigrants.
Biden’s new rules will allow Dreamers to apply for coverage, and promises them that, if they qualify, they will receive taxpayer-funded financial aid in purchasing health insurance.
In his announcement, Biden claimed that four out of five “consumers” of the Affordable Care Act pay under $10 per month for health insurance.
According to USA Today, the average monthly cost of health insurance for an American citizen trying to pay his own way, when not subsidized by an employer, is $477.
The Biden Administration estimates that roughly 100,000 DACA recipients will be eligible to receive taxpayer funded health care.
The new rules will take effect in November, as the country prepared to vote in the general election which will determine whether Biden receives a second term in office.
Biden also promised to continue his efforts to “fortify” DACA, and called on Congress to give Dreamers permanent legal status with a path to citizenship.

I had to pay a fine of $1000 a few years ago for not having insurance and now they give it to people for free, who have not contributed anything to our society.
