During President Joe Biden’s trip to France to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, which was filled with public relations disasters, the president confused Ukraine with Iraq while criticizing some Americans for “isolationist” views.

“The idea that we become semi-isolationists now, which some are talking about — I mean, the idea we had to wait all those months just to get the money for Iraq that we — because we were waiting. I mean, it just — it just — it’s not who we are. It’s not who America is,” said President Biden during a press gaggle in France on Sunday.
In the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery in Belleau, France, in which World War Two American Veterans are buried, Biden was asked whether he thinks that America is losing the belief that the U.S. can avoid wars by staying close to allies.
Biden responded by criticizing “semi-isolationists” who believe that the U.S. should not give billions of taxpayer dollars to Ukraine for their struggling war effort against Russia.
He claimed that the “semi-isolationist” view is un-American, specifically criticizing the months-long time period in which Congress refused to approve a $61 billion funding package for Ukraine.
That aid package has failed to significantly shift Ukraine’s success as it struggles to prevent further Russian territorial advances.
In his comments, however, Biden called Ukraine Iraq in a mistake which was later corrected in the White House transcript of the press gaggle.
Biden has a history of confusing the middle eastern nation invaded by the U.S. in the early 2000s with Ukraine, to which the U.S. has given more than a hundred billion dollars in aid since Russia invaded it in 2022.
Last summer, Biden made the same mistake twice in a single 24-hour period.
During a fundraiser event in Maryland, Biden claimed that he was able to unite all of NATO against the invasion of Iraq.
“Think about this: If anybody told you — and my staff wasn’t so sure, either — that we’d be able to bring all of Europe together in the onslaught on Iraq and get NATO to be completely united, I think they would have told you it’s not likely,” said Biden.
The other comment came as the president was discussing the unsuccessful uprising attempt in Russia by the Wagner paramilitary group, which Russia had used extensively in Ukraine.
“It’s hard to tell, but [Putin’s] clearly losing the war in Iraq, losing the war at home. And he has become a bit of a pariah around the world,” said Biden.
Biden has been making the same mistake since the first year of the war when, in 2022, he claimed in Florida that Putin’s war in Iraq was effecting global oil prices.
“Inflation is a worldwide problem right now because of a war in Iraq and the impact on oil and what Russia is doing,” said Biden.
Throughout his presidency, Biden has continually confused countries and world leaders.

During a February interview, in which Biden sought to condemn allegations of his senility, following a damning report from Special Council Robert Hur, and two incidents in which Biden claimed to have had recent discussions with dead politicians, the president confused the leaders of Mexico and Egypt, and said that Mexico borders the Gaza Strip.
That’s because he’s senile!
While representing Americans he’s also suspected of publicly dropped a deuce. Still, 37% of Americans approve of him and his most vocal opponents aren’t Constitutionalists but Hamas supporters.
How did this sad mess we’re in ever happen?
