“Letta Dicken”, Booze, and Kid-Friendly Fun: Portland Group Boasts of ‘Largest Pride Festival in the Northeast’

Pride Portland, a Portland based LGBT non-profit, took to Instagram to announce the Portland pride parade, which they claim will be the largest pride festival in the northeast U.S.

The event will include cross-dressing performer “Letta Dicken,” who recently made national headlines for offering a salacious performance to children under the age of ten in Windham.

The event will take place on June 15 in the Deering Oaks Park, and will feature two simultaneous drag shows and unspecified “kid friendly activities.”

“Get ready for the LARGEST Pride Festival in the Northeast. With over 225 vendors, artisans and merchants, 20 food trucks, 2500 square ft beer garden sponsored by Shipyard Brewing Company, Ice Pik Vodka and Apres; this is the festival of the summer,” said Pride Portland on Instagram.

The children’s activities will be provided by the Children’s Museum, Circus Maine, and The Center for Grieving Children, an organization which ostensibly helps families and children grieving family deaths.

The event’s promotional material celebrates numerous drag performers, including one who uses the stage name “Heidi N’ Closet.”

One image the cross-dresser posted to Instagram appears to show him posing alongside sex-toys in an attempt to promote one of his performances.

Another performer, with the stage name Arabella the Goddess, posted pictures prominently featuring a baby, among numerous other sexualized images.

Although his name is not specifically mentioned in the promotional post, the image also includes the performer known as “Letta Dicken”.

The promotional material does not specify whether the drag show will be open to children, although it does say that the event will be outside, open to the public, and will not require any tickets.

That fact, and the event’s inclusion of children’s activities, suggest that children will be permitted to attend the drag shows, even if, unlike was the case for the Windham show, they are not explicitly encouraged to attend.

In addition to the drag show, the event will feature musical performances, numerous food trucks, vendors, and sponsorships from alcohol companies.

Two beer brewers, the Portland-based Shipyard Brewery and the Montana-based Apres Brewing, have sponsored the event, along with the vodka producer Ice Pik.

The parents and grooming advocates, Children’s Museum & Shipyard Brewing, are awful people.
Who would let someone who goes by “Let A Dick In”?
Grinding and sexual perversion and mocking actual women?
Is taxpayer money paying for this?

Is Letta brazen enough to take her garish show out on the international circuit to places like Iran and Palestine? I think not.

She’s not courageous, nor is she helping the LGBT community. Letta is nothing more than a self-absorbed opportunist who cares little about anything other than her 10 minutes of fame.

Warning: Do NOT drink water supplied by the Portland Water District. It contains crazy meds that cause the population to embrace self destructive ideas, actions and participation. (Said tongue firmly in cheek).
