A Brazilian national who entered the U.S. illegally in 2021 has been taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deportation officers after he was charged in Massachusetts with attempted murder, stalking and kidnapping.

According to ICE, 33-year-old Brazilian national Evandro Ribeiro-Rosa illegally crossed the southern border from Mexico into Arizona in September 2021, at which time he was released from Border Patrol custody with a notice to appear before a Department of Justice immigration judge.

On July 16, 2024, Ribeiro-Rosa was arrested in Worcester, Mass., on charges of attempted murder, stalking, intimidation, kidnapping and two counts of vandalizing property.

Despite ICE lodging an immigration detainer against Ribeiro-Rosa, the Worcester House of Corrections released him from custody on July 23 after he posted just $2,500 bail.

When the Brazilian illegal immigrant was arrested on Aug. 8 for an outstanding warrant for failure to appear, ICE lodged yet another immigration detainer against Ribeiro-Rosa with the Worcester Police Department.

Deportation officers with ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Boston took Ribeiro-Rosa into custody on Aug. 12 at the Worcester District Court, based on the active immigration detainer.

According to ICE, Ribeiro-Rosa remains in ERO custody and is subject to ongoing removal proceedings.

“Evandro Ribeiro-Rosa allegedly committed a number of violent crimes against a member of our Massachusetts community,” ERO Boston Field Office Director Todd Lyons said on Tuesday.

“We will not allow noncitizen criminals to repeatedly victimize our neighborhoods,” Lyons said. “ERO Boston will continue to prioritize public safety by arresting and removing egregious noncitizen offenders from New England.”

    Hope and change
At 80 I hoped for my life savings to to take me thru a confutable retirement without being dependent out dependent on the Government for my shelter.
Change has reduced my life long savings through a very strong period of inflation and a greater fear of going out to shop etc. due to the increased crime on the streets. Frears of lack of Medical care. Knowing that the kids down the street have lower test scores due th falling schools.

The legal status of these invaders is irrelevant. Muds simply don’t belong here and need to go back. Legal and illegal mud invasions will result in the same thing, White replacement.
