Trump ICE Director Shocks “60 Minutes” With Plan to Avoid Family Separations

"Families can be deported together."

Former Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement under President Donald Trump, Tom Homan, shocked the left-wing host of 60 Minutes last week with a simple solution to prevent the separation of families during large-scale deportation efforts.

Homan, who was regarded during Trump’s time in office as one of the toughest law enforcement advocates for strict border controls, didn’t mince words when asked how family units can be preserved while American immigration law is enforced.

Here’s a partial transcript from a clip that went semi-viral on the Web:

60 Minutes: “We have seen one estimate that says it would cost eighty eight billion dollars to deport a million people a year.

Homan: I don’t know if it’s accurate or not.

60 Minutes: Is that what American taxpayers should expect?

Homan: What price do you put on national security? Is that worth it?

60 Minutes: Is there a way to carry out mass deportation without separating families?

Homan: Of course, is. Families can be deported together.

After the cackles edit everyone who uses logical thinking is gone. Dishonest, politicized, propaganda they will never again regain the trust of intelligent people. Of course the liberals will probably still watch.

A little inside baseball from June 2023: (paraphrasing) Trump called Homan and woke him up. He asked him what are you still doing in bed? I’m in Israel getting some intelligence on how they handle border crossings and how they conduct their security operations. Oh, then get as much information as possible for my next term.

Having spent two weeks around Homan, I can attest that he’s definitely the real deal. He’s tough, articulate and most of all compassionate. People should watch the documentary, “Death County & The River of Broken Dreams”.

So….$88,000 per person to deport them? What’s the plan; give them a GPS and a $100,000 motor home, plus $50,000 in cash per family to get them out of the US?

Does anyone know what the “test of reasonableness” is?

Oh yeah; we’ll have to pay the salaries of the NGO’s for ten years so they have time to find another grift.

60 mins is very concerned about families being separated on this side of the border and no one likes to see that. They don’t seem at all concerned with families being separated in Mexico and the kids and women being trafficked over the border by the cartels to be sold into sex slavery and worse.

At some point this open border situation has to stop. Either we put an end to it by a means of our own choosing or the left lets the brutal human trafficking scheme continue until our entire welfare and social system collapses. Which one does 60 mins think would be the more humane way to solve this problem?
