Stephen King’s Attempt at Music Spurs Confusion, Laughter, and Viral Jokes

Stephen King's attempts at music may be his scariest work of all.

Bangor horror writer Stephen King’s perplexing attempt at music-making surfaced this week on X, and users were quick to react with acid tongues and mockery, with one user comparing King to their imaginary “elderly, liberal, lesbian, Subaru-driving aunt who owns a bakery for cats and dabbles in music.”

My elderly, liberal, lesbian, Subaru- driving aunt who owns a bakery for cats and dabbles in music, just dropped this.

Would you buy her album? pic.twitter.com/sl2MhdSIZU

The bizarre video of King bebopping at an undisclosed musical venue spawned a host of jokes at the horror novelist’s expense.

That arm is as scary as anything I’ve ever seen in a Stephen King movie. https://t.co/zAjMgqmezd

Wow!!

Kamala Harris and Stephen King were at the same bar! 🤣🤣🤣 pic.twitter.com/gQaOfdwBRp

This isn’t the first time King, a New York Times best-selling author and literary icon, has conjured comments about his resemblance to someone’s aunt.

In April, a viral image circulating on the Internet appeared to show King posing with a pro-Palestine t-shirt and appearing to wear just a touch of makeup.

Upon further investigation by the crack team of News Center Maine journalists, it was determined that the image was photoshopped. The original image was taken in 2022 and showed King posing in a much more masculine way with a pro-Ukraine shirt and wearing slightly less makeup.

News Center Maine’s top-notch investigative journalists were able to determine that the photo of Stephen King wearing makeup and a pro-Palestine shirt was, in fact, a photoshop.

King, of course, is one of the many far left commentators who has opted to leave X now that the pro-Democrat Party censorship regime has been replaced by Elon Musk and an ownership that views free speech and open discourse as a virtue rather than a threat to established political power.

His relevancy ended with ’The Shining’, but his sociopathic hatred for the RepublicanParty and specifically Donald Trump goes on. We just checked his account, it’s actively thriving and bustling with malice of forethought. @StephenKing has been reduced to just another TDS… pic.twitter.com/OtDBxXUCLp

As of this report, it’s unclear when King’s next musical performance will be.

Stephanie’s demented acid tongue has lost many of its readers. This attempt to be relevant, anything for press shows how despite she is. Sad how hate can ruin even an average author’s legacy.

What will it do next, this thing called Stephen King? Crawl around on the bedroom floor in a thong and take selfies to post, like Madonna? FFS…. (High-profile people with the last name of King are clearly a disgrace to our state.)
