Stabbing at Munjoy South Apartments Leaves Man in Critical Condition: Portland PD

A Wednesday stabbing at Portland’s Munjoy South Apartments left a 56-year-old man in critical condition, police announced on Thursday.

Portland Police say that they responded to a report of a stabbing at 11:35 p.m. on Wednesday at 137 Munjoy South St., a townhouse in the Munjoy South complex.

Upon arrival at the apartment, police found a 56-year-old male from Portland suffering from an apparent stab wound.

The man was transported to Maine Medical Center where he is in critical condition, police said.

Portland Police said Thursday that their investigation into this case is ongoing and that they do not believe there is a threat to the public at this time.

    Now there is always a threat in the city of Portland! Best to stay away.

    “Portland Police said Thursday that their investigation into this case is ongoing and that they do not believe there is a threat to the public at this time”. So they do not have the attacker in custody but they “do not believe” he will stab someone else in Portland? Every day there appear to be new reasons to stay out of PWM.
