A previously deported illegal alien charged in Massachusetts with sex crimes, assault and armed robbery was arrested by U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Boston last week after he was released in to the community by a county court.

Officers from ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Boston apprehended 39-year-old Juan Alberto Rodezno-Marin in Boston on Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Rodezno, a Honduran national, was arraigned in March 2023 in the Middlesex Superior Court in Woburn, Mass., for the charges of indecent assault and battery on a person of 14, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, masked armed robbery and assault to rape.

Although ICE lodged an immigration detainer against Rodezno, the Middlesex Superior Court ignored the detainer and released him back into the community on Dec. 4, 2024., ICE said.

According to ICE, Rodezno has a long history of illegally entering the United States.

Rodezno was first arrested by U.S. Border Patrol in October 2007 after illegally crossing into the U.S., and was issued an order of expedited removal and returned to Honduras just over a month later.

Immigration officials arrested Rodezno and deported twice for illegally reentering the U.S. between August 2008 and December 2009.

Rodezno will remain in ERO custody pending removal proceedings.

Reminds me of one of the Cheech and Chong movies. These 2 guys and a some illegals needed to go to a wedding in Mexico, so they called ICE on themselves and were deported by bus for free! Afterwards, they just walked back to the US. Never thought I’d see it happen in reality.
