A Portland residence on Eleanor Street was targeted by a second shooting this week, just months after gunfire pierced a gas line at the home in October.

Portland Police say they responded to 12 Eleanor St. for a report of shots fired shortly before midnight on Monday.

Officers found several suspected bullet holes in the duplex home, with at least one passing through a window and others into the siding.

Witnesses told police that they heard four to five loud bangs prior to making the 911 call.

The same house was targeted by a shooting on Oct. 13, 2024, when police also found several bullet holes in the front of the duplex.

Police also could smell gas at the scene, and found that a gas line had been struck by the gunshots.

Portland Police have not announced any arrests in relation to this incident or the previous shooting from October.

Just like Saco. No arrests for a Maine street shooting in broad day light almost a year ago. But the governor does not care just more taxes. Nore does the City council.

Maine is no longer the safest state in the union, it’s being flooded with the mentally ill and trash. Better stock up on self-defense products and body armor, it’s only going to get worse.
