President Donald Trump made a bombshell announcement on Sunday night, declaring that all the pardons signed by former President Joe Biden for the members of the Select Committee on the January 6, 2021 are invalid because they were signed with an autopen.

“The “Pardons” that Sleepy Joe Biden gave to the Unselect Committee of Political Thugs, and many others, are hereby declared VOID, VACANT, AND OF NO FURTHER FORCE OR EFFECT, because of the fact that they were done by Autopen. In other words, Joe Biden did not sign them but, more importantly, he did not know anything about them,” said President Trump on Truth Social.
“The necessary Pardoning Documents were not explained to, or approved by, Biden. He knew nothing about them, and the people that did may have committed a crime. Therefore, those on the Unselect Committee, who destroyed and deleted ALL evidence obtained during their two year Witch Hunt of me, and many other innocent people, should fully understand that they are subject to investigation at the highest level,” he added.
Trump suggested that the members of the committee may have been the ones responsible for their own pardons, using an autopen—a device that automatically copies a signature without involvement from the original signatory—to sign the pardons without Biden’s knowledge.
In addition to the statement, Trump also posted a meme showing Biden’s presidential portrait replaced with a picture of an autopen.
Biden preemptively pardoned all members of the January 6 committee on January 20 during the final hours of his presidency, including former Republican Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, both of whom campaigned for Kamala Harris.
Shortly before his social media post, President Trump briefly discussed Biden’s autopen pardons and executive orders with the press while on board Air Force One.
A reporter asked Trump whether he believed that all the orders and pardons signed via an autopen during Biden’s presidency were null and void.
“I think so. It’s not my decision, That’ll be up to a court, but I would say that they’re null and void because I’m sure Biden didn’t have any idea that it was taking place, and somebody was using an autopen to sign off and to give pardons,” he said.
He also argued during the interview that the January 6 Committee knowingly destroyed evidence that could have incriminated its members.
The president’s later social media statement took a far stronger stance, declaring the pardons void and suggesting that he may try to prosecute members of the select committee immediately, without waiting for a judge to decide on the validity of their pardons.
Trump is likely to face legal challenges if he attempts to overturn the previous administration’s pardons, something no prior president has done.
If President Trump is to be successful, he will likely need to prove not just that an autopen was used to sign the documents—relatively common for politicians required to sign numerous decrees—but also that Biden was unaware of what was being signed with his name.
The recent announcement appears to come in response to a March 6 report from the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project claiming that every document allegedly signed by Biden bore an identical autopen signature, except for the letter in which he announced his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race.
“We gathered every document we could find with Biden’s signature over the course of his presidency. All used the same autopen signature except for the the announcement that the former President was dropping out of the race last year,” said the Oversight Project.
The project also pointed to a statement from House Speaker Mike Johnson, who recounted a disturbing meeting with Biden in which the president was unaware of actions he had supposedly taken.
Trump’s statements also came after Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey formally requested that the Department of Justice (DOJ) conduct a full investigation into Biden’s mental state during his final days in office. He suggested that Biden’s staffers could have been exploiting his senility to push through the most far-left political agenda in U.S. history.
“If in fact Biden’s staffers were exploiting his mental decline, those orders are null and void,” said Bailey.

The January 6 committee was a big sham we all saw what a lying bunch of scumbags they were especially when they destroyed all the so called incriminating evidence they gathered. If the evidence was real & accurate why did they destroy it? Because it was a lie all of it!
