If The New York Times ever had any pretense of journalistic balance, it has now fully outed its true liberal self in the Mills v. Trump WWE match.
The paper’s national political “reporter,” Caitlin O’Keefe, posted on Reddit – admitting she’s seeking to interview Mainers to help Democrat Gov. Janet Mills savage President Trump.

No pretense there whatsoever.
Just a pure unabashed effort by O’Keefe to full-bore sandbag Trump’s attempts to bring Janet’s woke vassals to their senses in the ongoing Mills v. Trump feud over the state’s policy of forcing female athletes to complete against males.
“Looking to talk to some Mainers for a story about the tensions between Governor Mills and President Trump,” O’Keefe posted, “particularly people impacted by the funding cuts.”
Thar she blows – a rare full-monty glimpse behind the curtain allowing us to witness the sausage-making executive chefs at New York’s finest purveyor of liberal propaganda.
Thankfully a number of alert Redditor couch surfers caught the wave.
“NYT reporter parachuting from ivory tower to do some real hard-hitting journalism by way of Reddit,” posted a Redditor named Obnoxious-Enjoyment 2nd. “Give me a break.”
“Mills isn’t the saint everyone is painting her to be,” commented Individual–Fig 2031. “If Mainers knew how much money Augusta was wasting they’d have her head on a spike. She doesn’t give a damn about working Mainers.”
O’Keefe “works for the NY Times – of course she’s biased,” noted Interesting-Spray 792.
“So you’re doing a story about Mainers affected by Donald Trump, but can’t even be bothered to travel from New York?” an incredulous Available-Rope 3052 asked.
After all, it’s not like O’Keefe needs directions – she spent four years at Bowdoin College in Brunswick – but just in case she needs a roadmap here it is.
For Mills, having The New Woke Times on her “payroll” makes a trifecta – her administration was already writing checks to the Portland Press Herald and Bangor Daily News for favorable coverage.
The only difference with the fawning coverage from the NY Times is that Janet hasn’t yet written them a check – “not that there would be anything wrong with that.”
