The alleged victim, whom the Sheriff’s Office did not name, told officers that his live-in girlfriend, Erika Frank, 54, of Raymond, threatened him with a firearm.

He was able to leave their home in order to alert authorities.

When deputies arrived, Frank refused to leave the residence or be taken into custody, sparking a standoff as she had access to multiple firearms inside the building.

During the standoff, Egypt Road in Raymond was closed.

The Cumberland County Regional Emergency Services Unit (ESU) also responded to the scene and eventually took Frank into custody after using multiple noise flash diversionary devices (NFDDs).

The standoff began at roughly 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and continued until around 3:00 a.m. Monday.

Frank faces charges for creating a police standoff, domestic violence, criminal threatening, and domestic violence terrorizing.

She is currently being held without bail at the Cumberland County Jail.
