SCARBOROUGH, Maine โ€” Scarborough firefighters were called to the scene of a serious motor vehicle crash Friday afternoon that required extrication at the intersection of Haigis Parkway and Payne Road, according to a post from the Scarborough Professional Fire Fighters.

Multiple Scarborough agencies responded to the collision, with Saco crews providing mutual aid along with an ambulance. Fire officials noted that other crews were simultaneously tied up responding to storm-related calls and medical emergencies across the area.

Authorities had not released information on injuries or the cause of the crash as of Friday afternoon.
