The Sheriff’s Department began its investigation after receiving a report that two tractors and other unspecified items had been stolen.

Deputies were quickly able to obtain information on the location of the stolen tractors and secured a search warrant for the alleged location of the stolen farm equipment.

During the execution of the warrant, deputies recovered the stolen items and arrested the alleged perpetrator, identified as Randolf “Randy” Bourgoin, 38, of Bradford.

Bourgoin was transported to the Piscataquis County Jail, where he was charged with theft and violating conditions of release. More charges are currently pending as the investigation remains ongoing.
