Deputies developed information leading them to suspect that the wanted Anthony Jensen, 45, was hiding out at a residence on E Andrews Hill Road in Otisfield.

Jensen was subject to four active arrest warrants on charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, failure to stop for an officer, refusing to submit to arrest or detention, and operating a vehicle after license suspension or revocation.

He was also wanted for a felony probation revocation after he allegedly used illegal drugs.

After learning of Jensen’s whereabouts, deputies applied for and received a search warrant for the residence.

The Maine State Police and Oxford Police Department officers joined deputies to establish a perimeter to prevent the suspect from fleeing.

A local animal control officer and an ambulance also responded to the scene.

After the perimeter was established, a female resident exited the building first.

Shortly thereafter, Jensen left the building and surrendered to deputies without incident.

He was arrested and transported to the Oxford County Jail.

Police identified the woman as Melanie Naegley, 37, of Otisfield, and issued her a summons on a charge of hindering apprehension.
