The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Department arrested three suspects during a drug raid in Hermon that allegedly led to the seizure of half a kilogram of drugs.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., the Penobscot Sheriff’s Special Response Team executed a search warrant at a Crogan Road residence in Hermon.

Deputies obtained the warrant after a multi-month investigation into drug trafficking operations by a deputy assigned to Hermon.

During the warrant execution, deputies allegedly seized approximately half a kilogram of illegal drugs, including methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and fentanyl.

As a result of the investigation, deputies arrested Chad Langley, 33, of Hermon on charges of aggravated unlawful trafficking of Schedule W drugs, unlawful trafficking of Schedule W drugs, and unlawful possession of Schedule W drugs.

Daquan Moore, 30, of Brooklyn, New York, was also arrested and charged with aggravated unlawful trafficking of Schedule W drugs and unlawful trafficking of Schedule W drugs.

The investigation also led to the arrest of Shelly Perry, 54, on a warrant for failure to appear.

K-9 Memphis was deployed during the investigation, and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency (MDEA), and the Hermon Fire Department all assisted in the operation.
