Hermon Man Faces Domestic Violence Charges Following Bangor Broad Street Assault

The Bangor Police Department arrested a Hermon man on Sunday after he reportedly threatened a woman with a firearm.

At approximately 10:10 p.m., Bangor police responded to reports of a domestic violence incident at a Broad Street residence.

Officers arrived and spoke with the residents. Following an investigation, police learned that Garrett Foss, 31, of Hermon, had allegedly assaulted the home’s resident and threatened her with a firearm.

Foss is a previously convicted felon and was thus allegedly prohibited from owning a firearm.

He was arrested and charged with domestic violence aggravated assault, domestic violence criminal threatening with priors and with a dangerous weapon, criminal restraint, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and violating conditions of release.
