BILL HILL, Maine – A structure fire at a home on Kingdom Road in Blue Hill on Saturday evening was caused by the careless disposal of smoking materials, according to the State Fire Marshal’s Office.

The Blue Hill Fire Department responded to the reported fire at 76 Kingdom Road at approximately 5:59 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The State Fire Marshal’s Office was later asked to investigate the origin and cause of the fire.
