A jury has decided that a woman claiming she was “over served” on a cruise is entitled to far more than a couple of aspirin.
$300,000 to be exact.
A jury found Carnival Cruises liable for Diana Sanders’ injuries from a drunken fall two years ago.
Sanders, 45 claimed she was over-served 14 tequila shots from six bars despite showing obvious signs of intoxication.
The California nurse said she fell after stumbling trying to walk down a set of stairs.
She was allegedly found unconscious at the bottom of a staircase.
Sanders complained of multiple severe injuries, including a concussion, headaches, possible traumatic brain injury and more.
Carnival officials argued that Sanders failed to identify any of the bartenders or bars where she was served.
The jury that awarded Sanders $300,000 decided the cruise line was 60 percent liable, while she was found 40 percent negligent.
Carnival said it plans to appeal the decision.

It’s too bad she hadn’t broken her F*-king neck when she fell down the stairs .
Personal Responsibility is a thing of the past .
Maybe she will take the 300k , buy a fast car , run it into a tree and be done with it .
Save me from myself!
Once again, no accountability from a dumb drunk woman.
How is anyone else but you responsible for your getting drunk? This is why people hate lawyers.
