That’s the question posed by Laura Utgard on the Sanford, Maine community Facebook page.
“Sanford Police Sucks” and “Cops Suck” are painted on the house and on a sign in front of it in bright red letters.
A third sign says, “Eric Small Bad,” referring to the police chief.
“The Sanford, Maine Police Department does the best they can with what they have to work with,” Utgard said. “We need to get together and make Sanford a great place to live again.”
Utgard said that if the graffiti isn’t removed she will start a petition drive forcing town officials to crack down.
The anti-cop rhetoric has also attracted critical comments on Reddit.
