Those darn “self-driving” cars strike again, no pun intended.
In a recent Texas incident a car “driven” by a computer ran over and killed a mother duck.
There was even a human behind the wheel at the time but the car was being “driven” by its autonomous, self-governing computer.
“While humans are responsible for killing animals with their cars all the time, this incident has brought negative attention to the new technology,” reports TechCrunch.com.

If Karen Whiner had been driving she could have swerved her car , hit a school bus , and critically injured nine children .
It’s a duck .
Let’s all lose sleep .
Maybe Aaron Frey can find a lawsuit to join that will sue the car maker .
Or maybe the ducks estate .
I bet it would jam its brakes for an AI robot crossing the road.
