Masked suspects in a stolen vehicle allegedly robbed a cannabis shop in Lisbon early Saturday morning while driving a stolen car, in an incident that closely mirrored recent burglaries in Turner.

At approximately 2:31 a.m., the Lisbon Police Department responded to a burglary reported at Lisbon Cannabis at 5 Canal Street in Lisbon Falls.

A preliminary investigation indicated that four masked suspects forced their way into the store, damaged the building, and stole merchandise and an unspecified amount of cash.

During the investigation, police learned that the suspects had allegedly been operating a gray 2016 Honda CR-V that had been reported stolen from Auburn.

Officers also allegedly located a cash register from the business lying in the road near Main Street and Wing Street.

The Lisbon Police Department is requesting that businesses in the area review their security footage and report anything suspicious to investigators.

The incident closely resembles two burglaries in Turner earlier this month.

In one week, 45 Degrees North Cannabis in Turner was burglarized twice by suspects operating a stolen vehicle.
