Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has won his second NBA MVP award, joining the most elite pro-ball club honors in athletic history.

Gilgeous-Alexander becomes only the 14th player in NBA history to win back-to-back MVP awards.

“There’s gonna be some uncomfortable convos yall gotta to have…” SGA’s teammate Jalen Williams said on Instagram.

Williams has been among SGA’s biggest defenders amid critics who think he’s nothing but an overrated hotdog.

SGA is often accused of overplaying his getting fouled but Williams says his numbers and athletic ability put the complaints to shame.

The new MVP is close to tying Wilt Chamberlain with the most consecutive 20-point games – 125 vs. Wilt The Stilt’s 126.

Williams said that Gilgeous-Alexander’s impact as an NBA player is undeniably worthy of the league’s highest individual honor.

He has often urged media and fans to “watch the games” and “trust your eyes” as proof of SGA’s value to the Oklahoma City Thunder team.

After winning the MVP, Gilgeous-Alexander gifted his teammates fancy watches and trench coats.
