The ad for a Connecticut home foreclosure included the legal stipulation that the property was being sold “as is.”

After the foreclosure auction the successful bidder went to inspect the house he had just bought “as is.”

The “as is” included three dead bodies.

The stunned buyer called police in Burlington, Connecticut, after finding the skeletal remains of three people.

Cops investigating the macabre discovery on Stanwich Lane said there was no need for public fear.

Easy for them to say.

The Connecticut Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has not yet determined a cause of death for the three victims.

A lot of states have a law stating that they have to disclose when nefarious activity of any kind happened in the house previously. That’s a big oversight when nobody went in to assess the house in its current state and now it’s a crime scene.
