Quisisana Resort in Lovell, Maine and The Norumbega in Camden, Maine, have been named among the top 100 hotels across the globe.
The two Maine properties and three in Massachusetts are among just 14 U.S. hotels that made the worldwide list, according to Boston.com’s Kristin Palma.
Quisisana was also named the No. 1 resort in New England and No. 5 on the list of best resorts in the continental U.S.
“We are honored to be part of a tradition that brings rest, music, connection, and joy to so many, year after year,” Quisisana said.
The Norumbega also ranked No. 2 on the list of best inns in the continental U.S., second only to Hotel Albatross in Ocean Grove, N.J.
“We are honored to have earned a place in Travel+Leisure’s World’s Best Awards for the third year in a row,” The Norumbega said.
The rankings were compiled from a readers survey by Travel + Leisure.
