At approximately 10:37 p.m., Franklin deputies responded to a call reporting a man on W Mills Road in Industry chasing people with a firearm.
Another caller living at a nearby residence then called, reporting the sound of four gunshots.
Deputies arrived and established a perimeter in the area and took the suspect into custody without further incident.
The suspect was identified as Nason Ducharme, 26, of Wilton. He was transported to the Franklin County Jail and charged with reckless conduct with a weapon, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, assault, and discharging a firearm near a dwelling.
The Sheriff’s Department did not provide details on the circumstances surrounding the incident, such as the number of alleged victims or whether they believe the incident to have been targeted.
According to his LinkedIn page, Ducharme is a “freelance digital artist.”
Jail records show that Ducharme was released on bail just one day after his arrest despite the severity of the charges.

Surprised no one took him out in that neck of the woods.
