Two people that were found deceased in a residence in Milford on Wednesday have had their deaths ruled as suicides by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta.
On Wednesday, Feb. 28, at about 5 p.m., the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in Milford for a well-being check.
Upon arrival at the residence, deputies discovered two deceased individuals.
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office considered the deaths suspicious and investigated the incident alongside the Maine State Police Major crimes Unit North.
The two deceased individuals were transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta where autopsies were performed on Thursday.
Following the autopsies, the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office determined that the manner of death in both cases was suicide.
Given the manner of deaths, the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office said they will not release the identities of the deceased.
This seems very suspicious to me
Birth and death records have been public records here in Maine for a couple hundred years now. Not sure why the secrecy here. The Maine CDC kept the death records available to the public, very secret during covid as they did NOT want anyone to see that while death counts from covid were high, deaths from cancer and heart disease, the state’s leading killers declined. Lots of deaths were blamed on covid that should not have been and we would have seen it otherwise.
