Three individuals are facing drug trafficking charges after Auburn Police conducted a major drug bust at a South Main Street apartment over the weekend.
On Friday, April 5, Auburn Police officers executed a search warrant at an apartment at 102 South Main St. in Auburn as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
Upon executing the warrant, police say they discovered a total of eight individuals inside the apartment.
As a result of the search, police seized approximately 198 grams of cocaine base (crack), 91 grams of cocaine hydrochloride (powder cocaine), 8.6 grams of fentanyl, two grams of MDMA (ecstasy) and over 500 MDMA pills, two grams of ketamine, 99 Xanax pills, two firearms, ammunition, and nearly $7,000 in suspected drug proceeds.
Police also confiscated at least one Electronic Transfer Benefit (EBT) card, according to images made available to media.
Police arrested three individuals present at the apartment during the search: 36-year-old Sabian Walker of Auburn; 33-year-old Caprice McAndrew of Hyde Park, Massachusetts; and 33-year-old Syrus Hampton of Mattapan, Massachusetts.
Walker, McAndrew and Hampton were each charged with three counts of aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs and three counts of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.
Walker and Hampton were also both charged with illegal possession of a firearm by a felon.
Walker and McAndrew were transported to the Androscoggin County Jail where bail was set for each of them at $25,000 cash.
Hampton is being held without bail at the Androscoggin County Jail due to an “extensive criminal history” and his current status on federal probation, Auburn Police said.
From what town was the EBT card gotten. Week checking, lieing answers on the form . Are Feds checking. Remember the broken window enforcement theory.
There was once a time, not so long ago, when those citizens might feel unwelcome in Maine. Those were better days.
People who promote diversity will have their citizenship stripped when White Nationalists take power.
If they were illegals they could have said we are business entrepreneurs in the drug business, laundering money, then eventually killing people by over dosing.
If they were smarter they could have said No English! No ID I am a illegal alien.
Gringo you can’t arrest me! THIS is my NEW BUSINESS!! Give me my EBT card back Gringo!!
To bad that bill failed Fighting Transnational
Organized Crime they would be gone for a long time. Probably be out in 6 months now with a equal justice lawyer working there case.
