Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei issued an open letter Thursday praising American university students engaged in pro-Palestine protests for being “on the right side of history.”
Khamenei said that anti-Israel university students in the U.S. have “formed a branch of the Resistance Front” and have begun “an honorable struggle” against the “usurper and brutal Zionist regime.”

“The greater Resistance Front which shares the same understandings and feelings that you have today, has been engaged in the same struggle for many years in a place far from you,” Khamenei said, directly addressing American college students.
“The goal of this struggle is to put an end to the blatant oppression that the brutal Zionist terrorist network has inflicted on the Palestinian nation for many years,” he said. “After seizing their country, the Zionist regime has subjected them to the harshest of pressures and tortures.”
In stunningly ironic fashion, Khamenei’s letter accuses the U.S. and its allies of refusing to “even frown upon this state terrorism [referring to Israel] and ongoing oppression.”

The Iranian regime under Khamenei supports numerous Islamic terrorist and militant organizations in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and throughout the Middle East — including its proxies Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
Appealing to college protestors, Khamenei wrote that “The support and solidarity of your professors is a significant and consequential development.”
“This can offer some measure of comfort in the face of your government’s police brutality and the pressures it is exerting on you,” he added. “I too am among those who empathize with you young people, and value your perseverance.”
In an earlier post to X on Wednesday, the Iranian supreme leader also urged American university students to “become familiar with the Quran,” the central religious text of Islam.
It would be better for the US to get the hell out of the ME. Let those people take care of their own business. US meddling makes it worse. The US can’t even take care of its own shit yet we meddle everywhere around the globe. No wonder there is so much strife. It does however provide plenty of profits for the MIC and donations to the compliant politician warmongers like Lindsey Graham.
