A Texas man has pleaded guilty in a Portland federal court to coercing and enticing a Maine child into sending him explicit photographs and videos, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maine said Thursday.

According to court records, in December 2021, 26-year-old Juan Jose Torres found a 13-year-old over Snapchat and coerced the child into sending him sexually explicit images and videos.

The 26-year-old also, while knowing the victim was 13, communicated with the child over Instagram, text, phone and FaceTime, and sent the child sexually explicit images of himself while pressuring the victim to do the same, prosecutors stated.

Federal prosecutors said that if the victim did not comply, Torres would become angry or threaten to harm himself.

The child’s father intercepted Instagram messages sent from Torres to the victim and reported them to his local police department in Maine.

Law enforcement discovered numerous sexually explicit images and videos on Torres’ phone in Texas.

Torres faces a minimum 10 years and up to life in prison, and a maximum fine of $250,000, to be followed by five years to life of supervised release.

The case was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations (ICE-HSI).

The case was investigated by ICE, and homeland security…..why would this be…because this pervert is not a legal US citizen? Keep bringing those new Mainers in Mills.

What’s the problem? Mill’s “New Mainers” are simply exploiting and perverting the children Americans can’t be bothered exploiting and perverting.
