The Maine Center for Disease Control & Prevention (Maine CDC) is looking to spend $200,000 on a marketing campaign focused on encouraging Mainers to get updated COVID-19 and flu vaccines.

According to a request to waive competitive bidding document published Tuesday, Maine CDC plans to hire the Westbrook-based marketing firm Ethos Marketing and Design in order to carry out the campaign.

“The goals of the campaign are to increase awareness that about [sic] eligibility for updates vaccinations against COVID-19 and the flu and encourage Maine people to get vaccinated and decrease hesitancy about getting themselves and their children/those in their care vaccinated,” the document reads.

“This funding will allow for greater media outreach for the developed television campaign, digital and social media campaigns promoting vaccine uptake for the intended audiences,” it reads.

Ethos Marketing and Design has previously partnered with Maine CDC and the Maine Department of Health and Human Services (Maine DHHS) on marketing campaigns related to pandemic-era public health protocols.

In a multi-phase campaign, Ethos promoted ads encouraging Mainers to wear masks, physically distance themselves from others, wash their hands and avoid outdoor gatherings, as well as encouraging vaccination.

The last phase of Ethos’ marketing campaign centered around pushing “wary parents” to get their 5- to 11-year-old children vaccinated, with ads featuring pictures of children posing with band-aids reading “#BraveLikeME.”

Coincidentally, Ethos’ company slogan, per their website, includes the phrase “Move the needle.”

If Maine’s leftists need encouragement to continue getting every Covid-19 booster available…. maybe it’s money well spent.

Despite mountains of evidence linking COVID shots to catastrophic health problems, and the shot itself being declared a “treatment” instead of a “vaccine”, the morons in state government continue to push these life-threatening shots.

Every Democrat should get multiple shots daily. Take one for the Biden team.

Two years ago, in July 2022, the local TV stations were paid by gov’t to promote the vax for young children. As in 2yrs old and down to 6 mos.

They had an ad that had a doting mom holding on to a baby and they say, now you can keep your baby safe. The vaccine had been approved for children of that age.

Maine has turned into a joke under Janet Mills. We need people in our govt who care about the hardworking people ,businesses ,and the people who run them . Not running and regulating our lives with taxes and fees, pushing EQUITY AND DEI crap down everyone’s throats , pushing the green new scam as they enrich themselves and raise our energy prices and property taxes ,giving our money to support crinimal illegals and corrupt ngo’s stealing our tax dollars. It’s high time we STOP paying for our own destruction, as a state and society. Defund our state government and all useless programs . Talbot Ross is at the end of her term. So instead of going away she’s now going to run for a congressional seat. The graft must be lucrative! Cause the job sure isn’t very hard to take, hours not very long, benefits exceptional and not deserved. Their on vacation more that actually working. It’s time to re-priorotize for who their supposed to work for and TAKE CARE OF OUR STATE AND ITS PEOPLE OVER THEMSELVES AND ILLEGALS

Present the facts and allow people to choose — it’s not hard.
This is a free market economy and that goes for medical products and procedures as well.
Succeed by having a good product — if your product sucks, you’re outta luck.

A waste of money. More and more evidence is coming out proving the shots don’t work and are actually harming and killing people. Masks do not prevent infection. I think most intelligent people are aware of the lies. Fauci admitted there was no research regarding the six foot distance rule.

I wish I had 200,000 to spend. I would not spend it so foolishly.

Adults have a choice on taking this useless shot (since it neither prevents acquiring or spreading by definition it is not even a vaccine) but children do not. Just like the life altering transgender fad children do not have the mental acuity to say no.

At my grocery store, there’s 10% off your shopping if you get vaxxed. Haha, plus Walmart promotes it “at no cost to you” hmmm, I think there will be a cost to you…
