A newly released video reconstructs footage from the assassination attempt on Former President Donald Trump, showing that the Secret Service had minutes to stop the shooter before President Trump was shot but did not act.

“Watch the real time assassination attempt on Trump from different angles. With countdown from footage of people warning authorities about the shooter to Trump being whisked away,” said independent journalist MilkBarTV on X.
The video shows that nearly two full minutes before Thomas W. Crooks, 20, opened fire on Trump, injuring him and killing a man in the audience, law enforcement officers working with Secret Service agents were warned about the shooter and failed to take action.
Video shows multiple members of the crowd pointing out the shooter who can be seen laying prone on the roof, and informing law enforcement of the situation.
The edit shows that seven seconds passed between the “shots fired” shout, and Secret Service snipers returning fire and killing the shooter.
Snipers could likely have seen the shooter before he began to fire, and yet they failed to act until after Trump was shot, despite receiving warnings from audience members minutes before the shooting began.
The strange circumstances surrounding the shooting have led to widespread calls for Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle to resign from her post.
Subsequent reports also revealed that a local police officer scaled a ladder Crooks may have used to get on the rooftop, saw Crooks with a rifle, but declined to engage with the shooter for fear of his own safety.
It remains unclear whether Cheatle, who was appointed by President Joe Biden in 2022 and who has prioritized diversity rather than ability in hiring new agents, will resign or substantially alter how her agency operates.
In a press conference following the event, the Secret Service claimed that it does not plan to alter its security protocols for the Republican National Convention, at which Trump is set to be officially named the Republican nominee.
Why is this incompetent women still in charge of the Secret Service. Her minions failed so badly in doing their job to provide security for President Trump than he was injured and came with in an inch of being killed outright. Mayorkas, her Cuban boss, will not fire her, he both hates and fears President Trump.
