Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.) went viral on Saturday after claiming that Americans “can’t afford four more years of this.”

The comment quickly backfired after conservatives pointed out that Vice President Kamala Harris has been in power for the past two years, not former President Donald Trump.
“WALZ FINALLY TELLS THE TRUTH: ‘We can’t afford four more years’ of Kamala Harris,” said President Trump’s campaign on X.
The Harris-Walz campaign has adopted similar messaging to make them sound like they are challenging an incumbent. However, the Biden-Harris administration has implemented massive spending bills and open-borders immigration policies that are contributing to the very economic malaise they’re now criticizing.

Judging by some key economic indicators, many Americans may agree with Walz’s assessment of what they can and cannot afford.
Americans are increasingly shackled with crippling credit card debt, with average borrowers each owing $6,329 in ultra-high-interest credit card loans.
Nationwide credit card debt hit a record $1.14 trillion in 2024’s second quarter, becoming the second-fastest growing form of debt, only coming after mortgage debt.
Homeownership, a key aspect of the “American Dream,” has become increasingly unattainable under the Biden-Harris Administration.
The cost of a home has also risen drastically since Biden took office.
The median home price in January 2021 was $300,313. As of February 2024, that number was $405,615.

Harris has proposed policy solutions to the poor economy so radical that even the Washington Post likened them to communism.
She was widely criticized for proposing price controls for groceries and a plan to give $25,000 to first-generation homebuyers.
Pray this guy is never one heartbeat away from the presidency .
Vote for Trump / Vance in November .

they lie almost as much as Fox News and that lying organization paid over $780 million dollars to Dominion Voting Systems
Tim Walz is spot-on. No arguments there.
Constantly burying the truth under deceit is like keeping snakes in a suitcase. Like they say, “The truth will out.”
Trump better get this in an ad quick. This is gold. Of course, they’ll be a correction by staff. You know, just like his explanation about his military service. He’s very passionate, he gets imprecise in his language, blah, blah. The guy is a fool.
Perhaps there could be some conjecture or bias in some articles on this site but unlike the rest of the lefts fascist media where there is absolutely zero truth whatsoever it’s a breath of fresh air. If alvin the chipmunk could pull his head out of his backside for just a moment he might see that, but I doubt that ability still exists. Muscle memory…
Hey Alvin ….why don’t you share with us some of the lies that you say come from The Maine Wire .
Go live somewhere where the people believe you .
It sure ain’t here bubba !
“The comment quickly backfired after conservatives pointed out that Vice President Kamala Harris has been in power for the past two years,”
My advancing age causes me to forget things every now and then, but I have it in my mind that Kamala has been in office for the past 4 years …..
Not that I don’t like nor trust Walz. I just do not believe democrats have a clue when it comes to being fiscally responsible. Budgets to them are merely garden tools – straight rows are a myth. There is only one person, who I don’t like either, who can keep us from driving off the road of fiscal responsibility.
