The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency (MDEA) arrested two men on Tuesday following a raid on a Hancock residence as part of a month-long investigation into illegal drug trafficking.
Roland Potter, 38, of Hancock, and Justin Gray, 43, of Blue Hill, were taken into custody after authorities executed a search warrant at Potter’s home on Route 1.
The MDEA’s investigation, which involved undercover purchases of crack cocaine, culminated in the seizure of evidence related to drug trafficking, including two firearms, one of which was an illegally modified sawed-off shotgun.
Potter faces charges of aggravated trafficking in Schedule W drugs (cocaine base), a Class A offense, while Gray was charged with unlawful trafficking in Schedule W drugs (cocaine base).
Both men were transported to the Hancock County Jail. Potter is being held without bail, and Gray’s bail was set at $2,500.
