The Bangor Police Department requested public assistance on Friday in the search for a missing woman who was last seen or heard from in 2023.

Police are requesting any information on Katie Sereyko, 44, of Bangor, who has reportedly been missing since the spring of 2023.

Her family last heard from her in May 2023.

She is described as a white female with green eyes, brown, black, or blonde hair, 5’8″ tall, and weighing between 140 and 220 pounds.

Though police are just now announcing that she is missing, reports of her family searching for her surfaced on social media much earlier.

Sereyko’s personal Facebook page appears to have been inactive since 2022.

“To say goodbye to my past and hello to the future. We are all responsible for our actions. Insult to injury was that the evil in some is real. I guess that nieve as I may be I am in the goodness of what I once believed I need the statements from everyone that knows the truth please write a statement please. I am just human and do bleed when I fall down. There is something to replace bellissi with and that is that is bellissimo. Never lie on a police statement please it can destroy a person that did nothing wrong. Thank u,” she said in her last post, from July 2022.
