A Vermont woman who placed an online Burger King order Thursday night realized too late she had actually ordered it from a Burger King in Maine.

So once she noticed her whopper, the woman, living in Burlington, Vermont, posted on a Facebook page “Just made a mistake and ordered bk in Bangor, Maine if anyone wants to pick it up.”

Burlington is 294 miles from Bangor so she figured the food would be cold by the time she got there LOL.

Once she offered it to anybody in Bangor who wanted it a second Facebook poster stepped in and helped out by publicizing the message on yet-another Bangor Facebook page to get the Vermont woman out of a pickle.

“There is a girl who posted this in Vermont,” Brittney Superneau Hartford of Lincoln, Maine said in the repost on Penobscot County Area Scanner Page. “She’s not in a group site, figured if someone was hungry they could grab it. She ordered BK in Bangor, Maine instead of Burlington,Vermont. She said someone is welcome to go get it. Figured I’d post it here for her.”

No extra jeez please on that Whopper. 🍔
