A widely-followed international foodie website is glowing over a Maine gas stationโs high-octane pizza.
Good pizza at a gas station?
Not only good but great, according to Mashed.com.
A radio guy named โKidโ at i95Rocks.com reports that Mashed singled out J Brothers Variety in Cumberland and Arundel as the go-to gas station for pizza.
โThe website Mashed is the ultimate destination for food lovers,โ according to Kid.
โWhen you think of getting pizza from the same place that you get gas, it probably doesn’t compute,โ says the Kid. โNo one ever thinks to eat pizza from a gas station or convenience store.โ
So when Mashed chose J Brothers as โone of America’s top picksโ for pizza, Kid simply couldn’t help himself.
โThis family-owned convenience store and deli has been doing it for over 30 years, serving handcrafted sandwiches, pizzas, salads, breakfast items, and of course, gas,โ Kid says.

Ok,…. So where, exactly is this place,..??..?
Never heard of either one
Iโve been to both locations. Decent sandwiches, OK pizza. Mashed must have a family or financial interest in the business. Otherwise, the gas is good.
