The Augusta Police Department arrested two suspects on Tuesday during a warrant execution on Old Belgrade Road.

At approximately 12:00 p.m., the Augusta Police Department executed a search warrant at the residence at 189 Old Belgrade Road as part of an ongoing investigation.
During the search, police identified two men: Eric Thibault, 41, of Augusta, and Nathan Felix, 37, of Augusta.
Both men were arrested.
Thibault was charged with illegal possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and criminal forfeiture of property.
Felix was arrested on an outstanding warrant unrelated to the ongoing investigation.
Both suspects were transported to the Kennebec County Jail, where Thibault was issued $5,000 bail and Felix was issued $500 bail.
Unspecified evidence of crimes was allegedly seized during the arrest.
