At approximately 4:52 p.m., an officer received a tip alleging that the vehicle was transporting a wanted suspect.
The officer located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
During the stop, he identified Emily Gillotti, 32, of Bangor, as one of the passengers. She was subject to an active arrest warrant.
Another passenger, Kimberly Andrews, 59, of Bangor, was also wanted on an active warrant.
A search of the vehicle allegedly revealed illegal narcotics.
Both suspects were arrested and transported to the Penobscot County Jail.
Gillotti was arrested on her warrant and on an additional charge of aggravated trafficking of Schedule W drugs. Andrews was arrested on her warrant.
In 2020, Gillotti was featured in a glowing report from WABI on Dignity First, a homelessness nonprofit in Bangor. At that time, Gillotti was already a convicted felon.
