The Bangor Police Department arrested a man on Monday after he allegedly threatened a woman in full view of police officers.

At approximately 10:00 p.m., police responded to an apartment building on Sanford Street.
The complainant spoke with police from her window and informed officers that a man, Alfred Barron, 28, was outside her door and that she would like him removed.
Police entered the building and found Barron with five bottles of tequila.
Barron accompanied the officers outside.
Once they were outside, the complainant spoke with officers from her window again.
In response, Barron allegedly threatened to murder the woman, at which point he was arrested and transported to the Penobscot County Jail.
He was charged with violation of conditions of release and terrorizing.
