WESTBROOK — A 39-year old adult male from Auburn with six active arrest warrants was arrested Friday evening after police in Westbrook discovered him slumped over his steering wheel while at a drive-thru.
The incident began as authorities conducted a routine welfare check which rapidly escalated into the seizure of more than 80 grams of meth and the filing of several felony charges, according to an official post on Facebook by the Westbrook Police Department. The suspect identified in the slump and bust is Jason Boston, regardless of the false name initially provided to the cops, exposing his hand in criminal tactics that give way to his history of bail conditions and a suspended license.

Around 9:30 p.m. on Friday evening, officers responded to a drive-thru location following reports of a male that appeared to be unconscious in the vehicle he was driving. Law enforcement officials located the individual and proceeded with standard interactions.
Initially, the male provided a false name to officers and after further investigation, officers quickly identified the man as Jason Boston, 39, of Auburn. The investigation into Mr. Boston also revealed his six active arrest warrants, while he was out on bail conditions and holding a suspended driver’s license. Unfortunately, Mr. Boston’s day proceeded to only get worse.
A subsequent and more thorough search of Jason and his vehicle led to the recovery of over 80 grams of methamphetamine. Law enforcement also determined that the license plates affixed to the vehicle were illegally placed.
Boston was arrested and charged with just about everything mentioned above; unlawful possession, trafficking, trafficking in prison contraband, violation of conditions of release, operating the vehicle with a suspended license, failure to provide a real name, the plates – you name it. Atop his fresh round of charges, three of six outstanding warrants were also related to drug trafficking.
