The recent heist of 12 tons of Kit Kat bars has prompted the popular candy’s distributors to hire armed escorts.
Kit Kat has even created a new app designed to find the stolen chocolate bars.
The company launched a KitKat “tracker” to help them try to recover the missing chocolates.
After thieves stole an entire truck containing more than 400,000 candy bars from a truck leaving an Italian production site late last month, Kit Kat suits decided to crack down.
Besides creating a Kit Kat tracker, they’re now using armored trucks with guards to accompany their delivery vans.
