NFL veteran Superbowl star Mike Vrabel is denying an affair with a longtime reporter “friend” with whom he was seen in a hot tub at a romantic resort.

The New York Post ran photos Tuesday of Vrabel and Dianna Russini together at a hotel in Sedona, Arizona.

Russini has been covering pro football for years, including for ESPN when Vrabel was with a previous team before joining the New England Patriots.

In a statement to the Post, Vrabel said, ‘These photos show a completely innocent interaction and any suggestion otherwise is laughable. This doesn’t deserve any further response.’

Russini, top sports reporter for The New York Times, said, “Like most journalists in the NFL, reporters interact with sources away from stadiums and other venues.”

She claimed she and Vrabel were never alone at the resort but one photo shows them dancing and hugging on a hotel rooftop.

“Reporters often have friendships with sources, but don’t often go hot-tubbing with them,” commented Sean Deveney of Heavy.com.

Polymarket Football on X posted an old video of Vrabel and Russini together, joking they “have chemistry.”

Vrabel has been married 27 years and Russini for six.

When Russini was with ESPN the wife of the Washington Redskins manager accused her of having an affair with her husband.

This is why it was a mistake to let female reporters into the locker room.
Can anybody imagine a male reporter covering the women’s Olympic team in anything and going into their locker room?

What is it they say about reporters sleeping with their sources???

Butt, butt, Butt, Mrs. Russini is with the pure as mud New York Slimes. She must be cleaner than the driven snow…or the filter in that hot tub.
