Troy Jackson Takes Aim at Jonathan Bush with Campaign Video Promising Higher Taxes Filmed Outside His Home

Alleged mortgage fraudster, former Democratic Senate President, and current gubernatorial candidate Troy Jackson took aim at his Republican opponent Jonathan Bush over the weekend with a campaign video filmed outside his home while promising higher taxes.

“We’re at the former home of pedophile Eliot Cutler, now the home of Jonathan Bush. As you can see, he’s doing very well. He mentioned the tax plan, how it’s no good for people like him. Well, that’s unfortunate, because that’s not who I care about,” said Jackson.

Millionaires like Jonathan Bush don't like my plan to raise their taxes so we can fund childcare, nursing homes, and trade schools for everyday Mainers. Unfortunately for Mr. Bush, I don't give a damn. pic.twitter.com/peyTy2eIFk

Jackson pointed out the irrelevant detail that Bush now owns the same real-estate once owned by failed gubernatorial candidate and convicted pedophile Eliot Cutler.

His video also repeatedly affirmed that he does not care about wealthy Mainers, explicitly running for governor of the state while expressing disdain for a whole contingent of Mainers and voters due to their economic status.

“I care about everyday Mainers that are struggling. What Jonathan doesn’t know is that my tax plan actually asks people that live in homes like this to pay a little bit more because of homes like this for everyday working-class Mainers to have better property tax relief,” said Jackson.

“So millionaires like Jonathan Bush do not like my tax plan; unfortunately, I don’t give a damn,” he added.

Despite claiming that Bush was unaware of his tax plan for millionaires, Jackson actually made his video in direct response to Bush’s prior criticism of that very plan, which would double the new millionaire tax signed by Gov. Janet Mills (D-Maine).

Bush issued his own video, responding to Jackson’s appearance outside his home.

“Here I see Troy Jackson standing in my driveway. He’s talking about, I guess he’s a tough guy cause he’s in my driveway, and he’s gonna raise taxes further, and he’s not afraid, or doesn’t care,” said Bush.

“Well anyway, vote for that if you think we need higher, all for it. I think we need lower taxes, and I think guys who live their whole lives, 30 years, skimming tax dollars into their own pockets and union dues into their own pockets should not lead this state,” he added.

Recent polling from Impact Research showed Jackson polling at just 18 percent support in the Democratic primary, sitting in second place, far behind frontrunner Nirav Shah, who held 31 percent support. That poll was notably sponsored by Jackson’s campaign.

Anyone ever notice that Troy Jackson is always talking AT people and rarely if ever talking WITH people? Remember when Covid was going on? He and Mills NEVER talked with the Republicans, they dictated. So I guess a leopard really doesn’t change his spots. And let’s get real, if Troy Jackson could afford a house like Bush’s, he would damn well brag about it. He’s a Bernie-Bro lobbying against millionaires until he can figure out a way to become one.

Bushes = Clintons = SCUM. Iran-Contra op through Mena, Ark., murders and cover-ups, and always screwing over the American people for profit and control. Prescott Bush and the Union Bank scandal (where he was helping to fund and launder money for the Nazis through German corporations’ interests in US banks); the Bonus Army Plot (insurrection) and more.
Some families simply need to be FORBIDDEN from ever participating in government again. Sorry, Johnnie.

I don’t think anyone needs another Bush in office, just like the Kennedys and the Sununus, And nobody needs any other democrat either. Find a conservative with some stones and solid principles, not another Collins.

I noticed that Troy didn’t say โ€œWeโ€™re at the former home of pedophile DEMOCRAT Eliot Cutler”.
Is that poll for real? Nirav Shah leads the demoKKKrats? OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! Could be worse I guess, it could be commie bellows.
