Deputies responded to a South Waterboro Road home in Lyman at approximately 8:26 p.m. while searching for a woman wanted on felony warrants for theft and violation of conditions of release.

Deputies were unable to locate the woman, but they did make contact with Jeri Souliere, 37, of Lyman.

During the interaction, deputies learned that Souliere was wanted on outstanding warrants for domestic violence terrorizing, and violation of conditions of release.

Law enforcement attempted to take Souliere into custody, but she allegedly resisted arrest and removed a pill bottle from her clothing in an attempt to conceal it. Once she was eventually taken into custody, deputies allegedly discovered suspected crack cocaine inside the bottle.

She was on active bail conditions preventing her from being at the residence where she was found.

She was charged with three counts of violation of conditions of release, resisting arrest, and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, in addition to her warrants. She was transported to the York County jail and was issued a $500 bail for her warrants but was not granted bail for her additional charges.

After arresting Souliere, deputies spoke with Christine Plante, 55, of Lyman, who was found to be subject to an arrest warrant for felony theft. She was arrested and charged in connection with her warrants. She was transported to the York County Jail, where she was issued a $500 bail.

Souliere was previously arrested in 2016 on an extraditable warrant out of Massachusetts for charges of resisting arrest, receiving stolen property, violation of conditions of release, and for being a fugitive from justice.
