Harrison Ford, who has repeatedly called President Trump a criminal, just gave a criminally vacuous speech to an Arizona State University graduating class.
“Harrison Ford’s ASU commencement speech goes viral,” headlined Ford bumkisser KTLA 5.
“In an inspiring speech to the class of 2026, actor Harrison Ford admitted to the mistakes of his generation, before calling on young people to change the world,” said the TV outlet’s pathetic Alix Martichoux.
Ford kicked off his address by admitting he didn’t always make the best choices when he was young. (Now there’s a new line.)
“I was squandering my life in riotous living,” the 83-year-old said of his college years.
He said found himself in a drama class looking for an easy A grade, but accidentally fell in love with acting.
Nonetheless, Ford claimed acting didn’t give him “purpose in life,” but that once he “discovered nonprofit Conservation International” in the 1980s he found his true purpose in activism on behalf of the environment.
Martichoux’s report gave no indication how many grads were still awake by the time the sleeper of a speaker transitioned from himself to the environment.
“Humanity is a part of nature, not above it,” Ford droned, making a plea for environmental justice, social justice and protecting indigenous communities.
“These communities have long understood that the trees, the mountain, water, soil are not commodities, they are relatives to be cherished,” he said.
Ford has previously said that Trump’s alleged failure to address the climate crisis “scares the shit out of me” and makes the president among the worst criminals in history.
In a recent blistering attack on Trump, Ford told Guardian news that the president “doesn’t have any policies, he has whims. The ignorance, the hubris, the lies, the perfidy. Trump knows better, but he’s an instrument of the status quo and he’s making money, hand over fist, while the world goes to hell in a handbasket.”
“To be honest, if I ever had the chance to meet Harrison Ford I fully expect him to be a cranky old man,” Prince Jarming posted on Reddit. “I thought that was the entirety of his public persona.”
“The only thing you need to know about his personality is what he said when he met actor Jason Segel for the first time,” another Redditor said.
“‘Of course I know who you are – I’ve seen Forgetting Sarah Marshal,” Ford replied.
Segel asks: “what did ya think” and Ford’s response was “nice dick.”
When Trump once praised Ford’s acting as an heroic president in the film “Air Force One,” Ford shot back “it’s just a movie, Donald.”
“Anyone who’s watched or listened to an interview with Harrison Ford in the past 20 years knows that he’s an ornery sonuvabitch,” commented GodFlintstone on Reddit.
