The former personal cook for Stefon Diggs broke down into tears Monday recounting the ex-wide receiver choking her at his multimillion dollar mansion as his assault trial got underway.
Jamila Adams said on Dec. 2, 2025 she texted Diggs from her bedroom in his house, upset he wasn’t taking her to a Miami art show.
Adams said he burst into her room shouting “‘What was all that sh*t you was talkin?’” before attacking her.
“He smacked me with an open hand,” Adams testified as she began to cry during the first day of his trial.
Adams said she tried to protect herself when Diggs told her “ ‘That sh*t is not going to work.’”
“He took his arm and he came around my neck with his elbow and began to choke me,” she said through tears.
He then pulled her hair and finally let her go, Adams reported.
Diggs – who played for the Patriots for one season in 2025 and is now a free agent – has pleaded not guilty.
Adams, who worked as a live-in chef from July through December 2025, also testified the two had slept together before she was hired for the $2,000-a-week job.
On his way into Norfolk County District Court in Dedham, Massachusetts, Diggs stared straight ahead as reporters peppered him with questions.
