Maine Wire editor-in-chief Steve Robinson says the sexy texts won’t amount to a hill of beans for the Democrat golden boy who can do no wrong in the eyes of his sycophants.
The wife of the leading Democrat in the U.S. Senate primary found sexual texts to women on his phone, according to a report over the weekend.
Amy Gertner allegedly discovered the explicit messages shortly after Graham Platner announced his campaign, The Wall Street Journal said.
Gertner, who married Platner in 2024, told the campaign last fall about messages she had found a few months prior.
Platner’s wife disclosed the texts to a campaign aide to make sure they didn’t pose a risk to her husband’s campaign, the Journal reports.
Aides reportedly decided the texts were a private matter being handled by the couple in marriage counseling.
The controversy over the texts is just the latest in a string of embarrassing political upheavals for Platner.
The latest ones included Platner’s social-media posts fantasizing about self-induced sex in a public men’s room.
But despite the controversies Platner, judging by the polls, is leading five-term U.S. Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine.
Steve Robinson, editor-in-chief of The Maine Wire, said the newest flap over Platner’s extramarital sexting is just another average outing for his Democrat following.
“Graham Platner’s infidelity issues surfaced almost immediately after he announced,” Robinson said on X. “Maine women began posting in Facebook groups about a gruff ginger who Tinder tickled them and then ghosted.”
“Bizarrely, AWFLs (Affluent White Female Liberals) are like the ISIS diehards of the Platner campaign,” Robinson added.”The are so radicalized that Platner could get caught on video committing sexual assault with Eliot Cutler and the Lincoln Project and they’d probably still vote for him.”
Hopefully the people of the State of Maine will not humiliate themselves by giving this unprincipled, impulsive wreck a seat in the US Senate and therefore a strong voice in our government. Is this someone who should be legislating the future of America for our children?
